Mildred P. Koban, 87, of Emsworth, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, in Cranberry Place in Cranberry Twp.

Born March 3, 1925, in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Skimba) Koban, she was a retired telephone operator for J&L Steel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Steve, Bill, John and Tom Koban; a sister, Anna Bard, and her beloved cat, “Pumpkin”.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Cheryl Krepps, Bob Wolff, Mary Contray, Jan Cannister, Chris Koban, John and Linda Bard, Kathleen Koban, and Charles Koban; a sister-in-law, Perla Koban, and many more nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 12 noon in the GABAUER-MATTER FUNERAL HOME, 1133 Church St., Ambridge, with Pastor Thomas Moog officiating.

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the UPMC Cranberry Place, 5 St. Francis Way, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
